More About Dave...
After attending Western Michigan University's Department of Geology, I accepted my first position with a consulting company located in Central, PA where my primary duties were to assess the condition of various properties from an environmental, regulatory, and liability perspective. Though the company was great, my (now) wife and I could not stand to be away from Michigan. We moved back, started planning a wedding, and I accepted a position with an engineering and land consulting firm, where I worked for three years as a geologic/environmental consultant including project work with: geotechnical, well construction/logging , survey, permitting, development, mapping, civil engineering, due diligence, and technical reporting in order to facilitate property transactions for a vast clientele, from individuals to national corporations. I know the land... literally.
Not only do I take full advantage of the recreational opportunities that Northern Michigan has to offer, but in 2008, my beautiful wife and I decided to give into the "call" and take up full-time residence in the Marquette area. I have devoted my career to knowing all facets of the land business. I know the dirt, I know the rocks, I know the water, I know the regulations, and I know how to achieve my client's objectives. When you're ready to pursue your own dreams, or if you just want to kick ideas around... let me know!
More About Wendy...
I too am no stranger to the various aspects of the property and land business. After attending Western Michigan University, my first position was with an environmental company where my primary duties began as administrative support. My duties quickly expanded into land research: parcel identification, deed searches, aerial photography, contacting local municipal offices, zoning, site visits, etc. Once Dave and I were back in Michigan, we got married and I accepted a position with the same engineering and land consulting firm as my husband. I was able to further develop my strong administrative, land research skills, and even some aspects of the land planning/permitting process. I have worked on several large commercial projects, as well as residential, vacant, and recreational projects. I can manage the varying aspects regarding land sites, financing, deadlines, environmental/ecological issues, and I know how to coordinate the many details involved while completing a real estate deal. I am familiar with many federal, state, and local rules, regulations, and requirements.
With my experiences, and the places I've lived and worked; I have come to the conclusion that nothing can beat the unique culture and beauty of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. It is my goal to handle your real estate needs with the level of professionalism, care, and efficiency that I would expect myself. The purchase or sale of real estate involves many significant decisions, I can help guide you, and we can reach your objectives!
