Jeff S Buyer Requested Details - 160-acres off South Nestoria Road

posted on March 26th, 2009

Jeff, here are some additional pictures and videos of the property you spoke with Wendy about today. When we went to go and walk this parcel, I didn't really expect too much. I was fairly impressed with the property after looking around though. It has a deeded easement and access road right off South Nestoria Road that leads to a high and dry place where a camp could easily be constructed. The property does have a strong lowland component, but there are several ridges with dry lands and larger trees. The property is located in a very remote area a few miles down South Nestoria Road from US 41. We walked the property in the summertime and were able to walk virtually anywhere we wanted, even right to the edge of the water. In the spring, more moisture would likely be present. I was very impressed with the pond area of the parcel. I would estimate that the water covers more than the 5-acres mentioned in the description written by the listing agent. All in all, the price to acreage ration will be tough to beat anywhere in the UP. The property covers a square half mile and wildlife is all over. I got the sense from speaking to the listing agent, that there could be additional room on the price as well. If you are looking for seclusion, acreage, wildlife, and hunting land; this property fits the bill.
