The Land Log

A view from the top of Mount Arvon taken last week. That's Point Abbaye in the distance and the Keweenaw Peninsula is just barely visible beyond.

The day with very warm temps and humid conditions again. A little after noon clouds began to roll in and we received light rain for less than an hour. After that, the heat wave broke and the conditions were perfect. The forecast for tomorrow calls for a high of 75 degrees... which I welcome. I spent my morning in the office working with various projects I have going. I heard that I will have a set of Tigers tickets coming my way for next month. Wendy and I plan to attend the game along with my brother and his wife. I look forward to these tickets every year since we get to watch the game from one of the suites. After lunch I spent some time a the Negaunee office before heading out into the woods for some evening work that needed to get done. I also heard from a past client and friend of ours that is considering listing a property with us. He also has a friend that is looking to purchase some recreational acreage as well. We are looking forward to working with them and they expect to be in town early next week. Wendy attended the weekly office meeting in Marquette where all the latest real estate happenings were discussed. Most of the other agents in the office have been quite busy as well. After sending off a few emails and faxes, she headed out to check on a friends camp. On the news I heard that a few camps were broken into by some kids. We knew some folks with a camp in the area and just wanted to make sure all was well with theirs. Everything looked okay, but we just had to check for them. She spent the evening finalizing all of her paperwork for the closings she has scheduled for tomorrow. Finally, I wanted to highlight this very affordable large acreage parcel located near White Pine. A whole section of land priced at only $500/acre will always catch my interest. The dimensions for section of land is 1 mile by 1 mile, or 640 acres. I hope all of you had a great day.
